Ordered yesterday, received today and installed. I have a 2015 MK7 GTI and spent a bit of time researching various mounts before settling on this one. Initial impressions were the plastic mount seems "cheap" but clips in firmly and perfectly around the Emergency/4-ways button, the plastic is translucent so you can still see the illuminated lights above it (airbag, passenger seatbelt, etc). I was initially unsure if the base/mount clipped on or required adhesive (which I didn't want). I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max (largest size) with a relatively slim case on it and it fits no problem, although I could see someone with a big chunky Otterbox having difficulties ( as others have stated in previous reviews). So far it doesn't seem to rattle or vibrate, which would be a deal-breaker for me. Taking the phone out is simple, slide it out upwards with one hand, so I'm not sure what other reviews mean when they say the whole cradle comes out...
